Amazon did everything they could to make using #AmazonSmile hard. It didn’t matter if U had a named charity, if U didn’t use the smile link, your charity got zero. Now, they’re discontinuing it, citing its “low impact.” It’s a shitty move that will have me rethinking where I buy.

Amazon Smile shutting down is extremely disappointing.

Not because of what it raised for any individual charity – most donations were modest – but the fact that Amazon will now hand pick charities that align w/ corporate interests, gatekeeping millions of worthy charities.
